Rooted in Christ
A gathering of believers united by the gospel of Jesus Christ — knowing Him, worshiping Him, and making Him known.
Rooted in Christ
Harmony Community Church is a gathering of believers united by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to know Christ through His Word, worship Him with our lives, and make Him known in our community and beyond.
We believe true life is found not in ourselves, but in Jesus Christ. Through His sinless life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, sinners can be reconciled to God, transformed by His grace, and enabled to walk in faithful obedience.
As followers of Jesus, we are called to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. This is not a life of self-improvement, but a life of surrender in which Christ increasingly shapes our worship, our relationships, our service, and our witness.
At Harmony, discipleship is not confined to one program. We seek to grow together through the faithful teaching of Scripture, prayer, Christian fellowship, evangelism, and serving one another in the life of the church. Our desire is simple: to help people know Christ, follow Christ, and help others follow Him.
Our Mission
To Know Christ, Worship Christ, and Make Christ Known
Everything we do flows from this mission. We gather to worship, study Scripture, pray together, serve one another, and proclaim the gospel to our neighbors and beyond.
Know Christ
Through the faithful preaching and teaching of God's Word, prayer, and Christian fellowship.
Worship Christ
Gathering each week to honor Him in song, Scripture, and lives surrendered to His lordship.
Make Christ Known
Proclaiming the gospel to our neighbors and beyond through evangelism, outreach, and service.
Whether through Sunday worship, small groups, ministry leadership, outreach, children's ministry, youth ministry, recovery ministry, or personal relationships — our desire is that Christ would be glorified, believers would grow in faithful obedience, and those who do not know Him would hear the good news of the gospel.
Our Story
Harmony's story began in 1892 when believers in the Peachland community gathered for worship under a brush arbor. Over the generations, God has faithfully preserved a gospel witness in this place through the prayers, sacrifices, and service of countless believers.
While the church has experienced many seasons of growth and change, our purpose remains the same: to proclaim Jesus Christ and make disciples who follow Him.
We are grateful for the rich heritage God has given us, but our confidence is not in our history, our traditions, or our accomplishments. Our hope is in Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, who remains faithful in every generation.
A Legacy of God's Faithfulness
For more than a century, Harmony has served the Peachland community through worship, prayer, evangelism, discipleship, and service. Generations have gathered here to hear God's Word, encourage one another, and proclaim the hope of the gospel.
We thank God for those who have gone before us — not because they built a lasting institution, but because they faithfully pointed others to Christ.
Christ Crucified. Christ Risen. Christ Proclaimed.
